On Thursday 26 February 2026, Hande Altınay joined the ERC COOPERATION team in a hybrid session. She discussed her work-in-progress on the role of notions of trust, authenticity and objectivity in sanitary internationalism in the nineteenth century with particular reference to the relationship between the Ottoman Empire and Persia, during the plague outbreaks in Baghdad.
